| Born in Chicago, Paul Ashack was always interested
in art. He has beeen painting for most of his life, primarily in watercolors.
Although he has painted almost every subject, he specializes in seascapes,
wildlife, and historical interests.
He has studied at, and is accredited through, the Art Institute of Chicago and the
American Academy of Art. He has won numerous prizes for his work, including first
placings from the Chicagoland Art Festival and the Westchester Art League. His work
has been exhibited at the Westchester Art League, Pullman Bank, Lockport Street Gallery, and the Ottawa (IL) Visitor's Center, as well as
exclusive showings at the Press Club and Oak Brook Bank. Chicago's Joseph Cardinal
Bernadin was presented with Paul's watercolor rendering of Holy
Name Cathedral. Paul currently resides in Hinsdale with his wife and daughter. |
